Success of VBS Traditions

Sometimes the classics win out. I would say that is true for our church right now. We held a Vacation Bible School last week. We feel it was a very successful week. I am sure by some people’s thoughts ministering to 15 children wouldn’t seem all that important, but to us it means a lot.
There are a couple of reasons it means so much to both the church and myself, first and foremost we ministered to at least 10 children who do not go to church anywhere, so it was a great opportunity to outreach for our Lord. Second, our small church hasn’t held a Vacation Bible School in many years, so to have 10 children from the community come and really have fun learning about Bible Heroes was a real blessing.
We must celebrate every victory in church. There are no small victories only big one’s when looking at reaching people with the hope of the Bible’s message. We look forward to reaching out to these families, which we have made contact with in the future, and we look forward to Vacation Bible School for next year.
