Winter Growth

Winter has finally hit our small town, and the people of Clifton. It does not dampen spirits though. The truth is that we are seeing growth with-in the winter. No, it is not the growth that sees green trees and blossoming flowers. It is far more important. It is growth of the soul, and of the Body of Christ.

This past week we were missing a few of our regular members and attendee’s of our worship service, yet our numbers grew. In fact a planned dinner on the first real snow of the year actually had more people than some of our monthly potlucks of the past. The kids and teens played in the snow and we now have a snow fort by our back door. All of this is a great sign of community and growth in our church. God is wonderful and blesses with His growth in His time.

Praise the Lord.
